Looking for an amazing, experienced architecture Revit technician to help design, create, and manage architectural construction documents. Familiarity with roofs, roofing systems, and roofing details is a bonus.
Must understand the use of wall, roof, and floor familes to create 3D building models, cut sections, and set up elevations. Understand principles for dimensioning and placing keyed notes. Must be able to set up sheets in Revit and populate with views, annotations, schedules, legends, etc. as needed to complete a full construction-ready set of documents. Must be able to work with project manager and / or project architect to complete projects.
Able to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly verbally and in a written format.
Mechanical, plumbing and / or electrical modeling / design / construction experience a plus but not required. A basic understanding of these systems is required.
Have a moderate understanding of how to create Revit families. Knowing something about how to create parametric families would be very helpful.
Skilled in using Microsoft and other administrative and supplementary software : Microsoft Word and Excel. Bluebeam and / or Adobe Acrobat Pro. Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.
Understand metal, masonry, concrete, and wood-frame construction and detailing.
Knowledge and experience with using AutoCAD or Civil3D a definite plus.
Unafraid to communicate good and bad information. Can give and take constructive criticism.
Willing to learn from mistakes, and not afraid of making them. After a mistake is made is driven to try harder to not make the same mistake.
