This position is about logistics, communication, and timeliness . We’re seeking a reliable, fast, and highly organized EMT who keeps the clinic running on schedule, communicates clearly with staff and patients, and ensures every detail behind the scenes is handled with precision. This is a non-diagnostic, support-based role .
Key Responsibilities (Logistics-First)
Patient flow & punctuality : rooming, tracking schedules, minimizing wait times, and keeping providers on time.
Communication hub : proactive updates to patients and staff; clear, professional phone / text / email coordination.
EMR accuracy : intake verification, documentation, forms / consents, and checklist completion.
Room readiness : setup / turnover, stocking, and cleanliness standards.
Inventory & supplies : monitor par levels, track expirations, place / receive orders, and maintain storage.
Specimen & courier coordination : label, log, package, and handoff on time.
Equipment basics : daily checks, maintenance logs, and service requests.
Task follow-through : own your queue, close loops, and escalate promptly when needed.

Qualifications
Current California EMT certification and BLS .
1+ year in a clinical, EMS, or medical office setting.
Comfortable with EMR, basic intake / vitals, and professional patient interaction.
Strong writing / spelling; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
