HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York.

60-mile radius rule

13 weeks

NBSTSA & BLS (AHA) Certification required

Must have travel experience required

Must have Ortho experience required

Must have scrubbing experience required

Must have Davinci experience

Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred, or current New York State LPN license eligible

Knowledge in the use of cleaning / sterilization / disinfection of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting.

A qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine & delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department.

Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise & efficient reaction to all situations & assist with departmental work as assigned.

Surgical techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensuring that surgical equipment is functioning properly & safely, as well as assisting surgeons during surgical procedures.

Must arrive within 1 / 2 hour of getting called in.
