Nurse Manager Emergency Department assumes 24-hour responsibility for overall assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.Responsibilities include oversight and direction for the emergency department, and accountability for planning, directing, leading and evaluating nursing care within the department.Foster an environment of collaboration and respect with all other healthcare team members.Weekend and holiday coverage as needed is also a responsibility of the role.Job Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience of management and / or supervisory in the Emergency Department.Demonstrates leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.Excellent creative skills, ideas to improve existing programs.Ability to determine appropriate action in complex situations.Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling work.Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner.Additional Details
