Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Portfolio & Operations Analyst to support a 6-month project. This role will focus on streamlining operational processes, driving efficiencies, managing contracts and payments, and creating impactful visualizations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, along with a proven ability to navigate a matrixed corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Lead onboarding to tools and processes during the first ~90 days, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- Analyze and enhance workflows across the team and broader organization.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Apply a change management approach to support transitions to new processes.
Visualization & Communication
Develop executive-level presentations and visual reports using PowerPoint.Create dashboards and operational insights using Airtable or similar platforms.Communicate effectively across a matrixed organization, including senior leadership.Contract & Financial Management
Manage contract lifecycles including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewals.Oversee payment processes and vendor relationships.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Qualifications
Bachelor s degree required.1-2 years minimum experience in operations management or related field.Strong leadership and communication skills, especially in navigating matrixed organizations.Expertise in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.Experience with Airtable and / or Smartsheet .Solid background in financial management (budgeting, forecasting, planning).Proven experience in SOP documentation and process efficiency.Prior client experience preferred.Experience with vendors in a corporate business operations context is ideal.Desired Soft Skills
