Job description

Dentist Opening Near NYC Located in Spring Valley, NY

  • 35m from New York City Full-time, permanent positionDentist Responsibilities : The general dentist is responble for providing comprehensive dental care to health center patients, including definitive, emergency, restorative and preventive dental care.
  • Performs routine examinations and treatment
  • Diagnoses ailments of oral cavity. Performs and interprets X-rays
  • Performs teeth cleaning and dental work, including crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.
  • Performs limited dental surgery, restricted to extractions
  • Documents patients dental history and treatment
  • Supervises dental assistants and hygienists
  • Performs patient pain management techniques
  • Complies with applicable policies and procedures and supports the Compliance Program
  • Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required

  • DDS / DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Current, valid NYS license to practice dentistry
  • Other certifications as required by state to include- CPR, DEA, etc.
