JOB PURPOSE
Through the management of the Company´s social media and institutional channels locally, the Communications Specialist develops brand awareness and builds strong relationship with our key local partners.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Ensures alignment to global strategies, and adaptation of materials in order to meet the Brazilian market specificity;
• Analyses weekly and monthly reports to define new content plans and strategies;
• Liaises with Corporate Team to creates the content of the editorial calendar;
• Reviews contents for releases, participate to press events/trips both on board and ashore and answers to press inquiries;
• Monitors of all channels, especially during crisis management and analyses media coverage;
• Manages the local Public Relations and Social Media agency;
• Manages and reviews the contents of the company social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google+ and blog);
• Answers to complaints, questions and comments on the Company’s social media pages;
• Supports management of crisis.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
• Fluency in English (Italian and Spanish will be a plus)
• Tourism/Hospitality academic background
• 3 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, social media management in the tourism industry
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
• Strong leadership
• Results oriented
