Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Optometrist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / Metropolitan. Opportunity Details :

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and initiate treatment and management of eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, etc.
• Collaborate with Ophthalmology in co-managing patients in subspecialty clinics and in pre- and post-operative care.
• Manage patient triages, walk-ins, and ocular emergencies in a hospital setting.
• Participate in administrative duties, such as answering e-consults, triaging schedules, and reading screening photos from the diabetic photo screening program.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $140,411

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $154,452

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.
