Registration Specialist

As a Registration Specialist, you are a key player in department workflow and organization directly affecting patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Registration : Conduct accurate patient registration process by collecting accurate information; verify demographic, insurance and physician information; update accounts as needed; obtain all necessary signatures, consent forms and financial agreements; collect co-pays when applicable
• Department Management : Answer department phone calls and relay messages to appropriate staff; participate in departmental performance improvement plans; maintain supply of all forms and paper
• Documentation : Enter all required data into computer system; ensure all reports and logs are completed accurately and on time

Physical Requirements :
