Charge Nurse assumes the responsibility for the human and fiscal resources available in order to provide quality, cost-effective patient centered care.The Charge Nurse will possess and have the capabilities to perform all the major duties and critical tasks of a Registered Nurse.The Charge Nurse will demonstrate honesty, integrity, respectfulness, discretion, responsibility and dependability.Supports the mission and vision of the facility.Qualifications
Job Requirements :
Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse programMust possess and maintain a current RN license to practice in Texas
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.At least one (1) year RN experience in a clinic environmentPreferred Job Requirements :
Five (5) years RN experience
At least two (2) years RN experience as a charge nurse or supervisor
Specialty certification, such as Ambulatory Care Nurse, preferred at hire and preferred within 12 months of eligibility
