POSITION SUMMARY
Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Sr Workday HRIS Analyst to support the organization's HRIS system. This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the Workday environment including, but not limited to, Security management, supporting ongoing enhancements, data changes, testing, reporting, and general platform and end-user support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs / requirementsAdvanced skills in Workday HCM along with two other supporting modulesAbility to lead process discussions which will result in overall system designThis position assists junior team members on advanced system concepts, configuration and reportingCollaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (particularly workflow / security), implement new functionality, and actively participate in major projects as neededWork with internal teams and AMS support to properly configure WorkdayApplying technical expertise to the most complex HRIS issuesEstablish plans for ongoing enhancements and support of the Workday platform as a wholeAssist with the day-to-day operational needs of the Workday environment including user management, role changes, data changes and analysis as neededDevelop and modify reports, analytics, metrics and dashboards for management and functional Workday usersAssist in managing and testing Workday major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, and communicating appropriately with the various business unit leadsWork with the various business units to prepare and upload Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) for mass data entryActively participate in Workday Community and User Groups to identify any potential issues as well as identify any new solutions to existing issuesWork independently with great team spiritTake full ownership of and accountability for assigned tasks and communicate status accurately to management and teamsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
5+ years of Workday configuration experienceStrong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, documentation, etc.Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical and functional audiences.Experience with testing, including definition and execution of test plans and scenarios.Proficient in the MS Office suite of productsProficient in the use of Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) Reporting Tools.General knowledge of Finance General Ledger & Accounting PrincipalsStrong research and analytical skillsDemonstrated success in managing multiple tasks in a complex and fast changing environmentSelf-motivated and directed with the ability to learn quicklyAble to multi-task and concurrently manage multiple tasksAble to work independentlyTeam oriented with strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsAble to drive resultsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required :
Diploma or certificate in human resource management, or equivalent experience. Diploma or certificate in information technology will also be considered.BA / BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field5+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, Information Technology or similarly applicable fieldPreferred :
Workday PRO certificationExperience in Microsoft Power BI tool or other analytic toolsConceptual understanding of various integration toolsThe base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and / or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.'s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Denver area base salary range : $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
