The Backflow and Water Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Town’s backflow prevention, pretreatment, and water quality programs. This position performs technical, administrative, and field duties related to regulatory compliance, system monitoring, inspections, and reporting.

The role includes conducting site visits, coordinating with commercial and industrial users, and collaborating with development and building departments to ensure adherence to Town, State, and Federal regulations related to drinking water protection and wastewater collection.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years of experience working in water distribution, wastewater collection, or a related field, CCWP Class 2 certification in Water Distribution, and CCWP Class 2 Sewer Collection certification, and Approved Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification.

Expected hiring range : $26.13 - $31.36 / hour
