Hematology Oncology Unit 50
The Division of Hematology and Oncology conducts research and treats all types of adult cancers including solid tumor cancers and hematological (blood) disorders, as well as coagulation disorders and non-cancerous blood diseases. With over 80 faculty members representing a broad range of professional training and expertise, our dedicated team of professionals is committed to cancer care through research to better understand and treat cancers; state-of-the-art patient care and personalized cancer therapy; clinical trials, including Phase I drug development with subsequent Phase II and Phase III testing; training future cancer doctors and researchers; and cancer chemotherapy, pharmacology, and biological therapy with an emphasis on solid tumors.

Shift : Full-time day shift - 6 : 45 am to 7 : 15 pm (three 12-hour shifts / week). Shifts do rotate throughout the week. Note : Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs. All employees (night shift & PRN included) employees are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment.
Care Partner Position Qualifications
Required : High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following :
Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), orGraduation from a nursing assistant or aide training program within the past year (certificate of completion required), orMinimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.Preferred qualifications :
