Job Description : Position Summary :

Client is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to standardize and automate

configuration across environments using modern Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices. The role will ensure consistency in development, test, and production environments while reducing deployment errors and supporting scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage configuration automation scripts using Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools.
• Maintain version-controlled configuration baselines across all environments.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent CI / CD deployments.
• Implement GitOps practices for configuration validation and change management.
• Manage artifact repositories, deployment manifests, and release configurations.
• Monitor configuration drift and lead remediation strategies.
• Document configuration standards, processes, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience :

Experience in regulated or secure environments (CJIS, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus.
