Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity is available to support K-12 students in Gallup, NM. This contract position spans the full school year, offering professionals the chance to make a meaningful impact on children's physical development and educational progress in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver physical therapy services to students within the K-12 setting, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and document student progress to ensure compliance with educational and therapeutic goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student success.
• Maintain equipment and provide education on therapeutic techniques as needed.
