New York Licensed Medical Coder RN

A company is looking for a Sr Certified Medical Coder RN.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze healthcare information and conduct chart reviews related to coding and reimbursement

Ensure compliance with medical coding regulations and handle claims issues

Collaborate with business units to enhance process efficiency and provide project status reports

Required Qualifications

RN Degree with one year of preferred experience in hospital inpatient coding

One year of experience in a clinical setting or acute care hospital

Valid / Current CPC Certification, or CIC or CCS credentials preferred

Licensure as RN, PA, MD, APRN, DO, or MBBS required

Nursing experience in managed care or acute care settings preferred
