Full time, permanent positionRotating Call approximately 1 : 4Join a team of 3 full-time PathologistsGeneral surgical pathology sign-out with a role in oversight of the clinical laboratoriesClinical laboratory tests, including surgical pathology and cytopathology specimensVolume is approximately 13,000 surgical specimens per yearApproximately 5000 gynecologic cytology specimens and 1000 non-gynecologic specimens per year with occasional rapid on-site evaluationInvolved in clinical consults which primarily include evaluation of peripheral blood smears and blood bank serologyInvolved in general surgical and breast cancer conferencesNo autopsies are performed at this hospital.Background :
