Key Responsibilities :
Works with Operations Manager and Account Management team to plan daily activitiesDetermines appropriate production methods and labor levels to meet service deliverablesReviews master production schedule and work orders to prioritize / revise workforce to maximize availability and meet expectationsSupervises all operations personnel to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and accuracyEnsures all lines are properly set-up and that materials are in position for prompt start up at the beginning of each shiftEnsures all employees understand their specific duties, at the beginning of each shift start upRun WMS reports for open, pending, and rush ordersReview Operation Margins MonthlyChecks work throughout the day to ensure proper assembly and adherence to shipping scheduleAssists with candidate selection by interviewing, hiring, and trainingGuides employees by assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employeesReviews team and individual productivity regularlyWork on continuous improvement functions to improve costSupports and maintains all corporate quality standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions as outlined in the company quality system documentationProvides a safe working environment through adherence to OSHA regulations and to all company health and safety policies and proceduresWorks with Human Resources as a team on issues, employee development, safety, and communicationsAll other duties as assignedQualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum 3 year(s) related experience with knowledge of receiving, shipping, product fulfillment, and inventor control.Experience with standard warehousing procedures and practicesPrevious leadership experience preferred including coaching and development of employeesAbility to determine priorities, make decisions, and organize merchandise necessary to create an organized operationAbility to work independently and in teams with strong communication skillsArchway is growing grow with us, too.
