Supply Chain Inventory, Quality and Compliance Analyst

The Supply Chain Inventory, Quality and Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing inventory management and quality assurance within the distribution center. Reporting to the IQC Manager, this position leverages data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational excellence.
The Analyst is responsible for validating key metrics, developing process improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy, reduce damages, and improve productivity.
The scope of analytics also includes :
- Utilizing data and performance metrics to define policies and processes to improve inventory accuracy.
- Communicating key insights and partnering with cross-functionally with DC Operations, IQC COE, Inventory Management, Reverse Logistics, OpEx, SC Systems, Internal and External Audit and Quality Control.
- Additional responsibilities including SOX Testing, Inventory Movement Optimization, and special requests to support distribution center and Supply Chain leadership.
This Analyst's work will impact the quality of the team's work in assisting the team with meeting or exceeding specific targeted goals that are established for Inventory, Quality and Control team. As a result, this requires that the individual must continually hold themself accountable for accurate reporting and results and requires the individual to work independently on a wide range of issues while managing specific programs. In addition, the position also requires the ability to lead, provide guidance to new team members, innovate, and think differently to find new and better ways to solve straightforward problems that present challenges to achieving those goals.
Detailed responsibilities include :
Process ImprovementIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline inventory management and warehouse processes.Lead slotting activities and projects aligned with the continuous improvement roadmap.Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.Coordinate cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies.Data Analysis & ReportingAnalyze operational, inventory, and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.Communicate key insights and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.Validate key metrics and ensure accuracy in reporting for assigned operational areas.Operational ExecutionExecute daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area, ensuring delivery of consistent work.Manage day-to-day operations in assigned warehouse sections to meet or exceed daily targets.Coordinate processes and assignments to achieve balanced workloads and meet operational metrics.Define terms for conducting tasks and establish new priorities to meet operational success.Performance ManagementSupport team engagement, motivation, and development.Assist with coordination of processes and assignments to ensure delivery of exceptional services.Maintain personal and professional development utilizing company and outside resources to ensure skills remain current with business trends.Quality Assurance & ComplianceEstablish and uphold quality standards for products and processes, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Implement quality control measures to address defects and discrepancies.Support SOX testing, inventory movement optimization, and special requests for leadership.Problem Solving & Root Cause EffortsLead and participate in root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, quality issues, and operational inefficiencies.Collaborate with DC Operations, Inventory Management, Reverse Logistics, OpEx, SC Systems, Audit, and Quality Control to resolve problems.Implement corrective actions and monitor effectiveness.Drive initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics.Required qualifications :
3+ years' experience Advanced Excel3+ years' experience Basic WMS / ERP Experience or Inventory ExperienceWorking knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skillsKnowledge of Supply Chain analytics and understanding of relevant KPIsStrong understanding of inventory management principles, quality assurance standards, investigations, and regulatory requirementsAbility to perform with regular and predictable attendance; perform and complete tasks independently; 5% travelPreferred qualifications :
