The Jacksonville office of Lippes Mathias LLP is seeking an experienced legal assistant to join our real estate team.

Responsibilities will include :

• Prepare memoranda for opening new matters
• Assist in the formatting / drafting of legal documents
• Monitor and update attorney and non-attorney professional calendar(s)
• Create and maintain schedules for client meetings
• Edit documents, whether provided electronic edits or hand-written edits
• Maintain time entry for billable hours for attorneys
• Create / maintain electronic directories
• Prepare and send out transmittal letters
• Make travel arrangements
• Prepare and submit expense reports
• Save, print, scan, and file all transmittal documents on each file
• Perform general office duties as required

Our ideal Legal Assistant will have :

Salary range DOE : $22.00-$25.00 / hour depending on experience

The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
