We are searching for our next Design Specialist to join our team. This position will help our customers make and document all interior and exterior selections for their new home. The ideal candidate will have a good eye for design, a background in interior design, experience in Chief Architect or a similar program, and a high level of attention to detail.

Compensation :

$25+ hr Depending on Experience

Responsibilities :

  • Meet with customers to determine interior and exterior selections for their new home.
  • Advise customers on selections to remain on-trend but also within the customer's style and budget preferences.
  • Prepare Non-Standard Option price requests to be priced by the Purchasing Department.
  • Prepare full selection documents, including plan adjustments, sketches, and exhibits.
  • Coordinate and meet with suppliers in order to keep product in the Design Studio up to date and on trend.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the Design Studio, including labeling of all products.
  • Request samples and new products from suppliers as necessary.
  • Update schedule items and task list in construction software.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications : Job Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Design Experience : Prior Design experience or equivalent education
  • Software Experience : Chief Architect, 2020 Design, or related programs

  • Functional computer skills in applicable programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
