Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Maryville, Tennessee.

Job Details :

  • Work night shifts in a 44-bed emergency department with 27 rooms
  • Daily census of 130 patients per day
  • Care for patients of all age groups : neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Weekend coverage required
  • 36 hours of orientation provided
  • Scrub color requirement : Navy Blue
  • Must have active Tennessee license or multistate license
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI / MAB, PALS, NIHSS
  • TNCC certificate preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required
  • Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
  • Eligible for reimbursement for up to 16 hours of module completion time
  • May be required to float to other qualified units based on census needs
  • Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
  • Skills include emergency medications, trauma care, procedural sedation, triage, IV management, and various emergency conditions
