Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,218 per week in Freeport, IL

Description : Unit Notes : Department : Telemetry Common diagnoses include stroke, CHF, ACS, CAD, post-heart catheterization patients, and arrhythmias. Experience in titrating drips is not required. Common titratable medications include Cardizem, Amio, and Dopamine; titerable medication includes Heparin. Telemetry is available on this unit, and RN's sign off on strips. Charge nurse has a patient assignment. There are nurse aides on this unit, and the ratio is dependent on acuity, typically 2 CNAs. Equipment includes BiPAP and High Flow. Scheduled shifts are 12 hours, either 0700-1930 or 1900-0730. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required. Floating to ICU, MS, and ER may occur within scope. Scrub color is any color. Department-specific orientation is provided.
