CT Technologist - Brockton, Massachusetts

Perform advanced CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing high-quality diagnostic scans that support effective patient care and treatment plans. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule with four 10-hour shifts, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing for a balanced workweek.

Location:Situated in Brockton, MA, this role is set in a well-equipped outpatient imaging department known for its commitment to patient-centered care and modern technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, set up, and operate CT scanners according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Perform a variety of routine outpatient CT exams with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Confirm patient identity and exam details through thorough patient interviews and medical record reviews.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system and ensure all images are properly archived and transmitted to PACS.
• Adjust scanner and injector settings to optimize image quality while ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms in excellent condition.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and language needs to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Stay updated on all CT department procedures and policies, adhering strictly to institutional guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification with ARRT or NMTCB as a Registered Technologist (R), (T), or (N).
• Appropriate state licensure for CT imaging.
• Proven competence in routine outpatient CT exams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and comfort.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
