Job Description
This role is a hybrid position with 1 to 2 days per week in our Chicago office.
Overview :
- A CCDT engineer is responsible for performing propagation studies for internal stakeholders as well as providing guidance based on those results. This includes selecting the parameters and modeling coverage of the system based on system coverage requirements. Some of the daily activities performed by a CCDT RF Engineer are :
- Understanding Customer Requirements
- Performing Radio Coverage Propagation Analysis
- Voice and Data Capacity Analysis
- RF Link Budget Calculations
- Participate in Design Reviews
- Perform Frequency Licensing Studies
- Contributing to Standard Practices
- Use of ArcGIS tools
- Scripting languages such as Python, Google Apps Script are helpful but not required

Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar technical disciplineOR 2+ years of engineering or technical experienceLegal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
