Wise Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), to pick up shifts on a PRN basis for various Long-Term Care facilities in the areas surrounding Hillsdale, MI. Enjoy the flexibility of creating your own schedule with one of our multiple per diem opportunities. Great option for working parents or those furthering their career in nursing school!

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

Must have a valid license / certification in the state of MI (compact licensing a plus)

Minimum 1 year of long-term health care experience (such as a nursing home or assisted living)

Current CPR or BLS certificate

Must clear background checks and pre-employment drug screening

Experience in documenting and / or charting desired

Physically able to perform job duties

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

Administer care in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse and / or supervisor

Participate in the delivery and evaluation of patient care

Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients according to facility guidelines

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervision

Documenting and / or Charting, according to facility specifications
