Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician to support a dynamic surgical team in Aurora, CO. This contract position offers the chance to apply specialized nursing skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and a strong mitment to patient safety and care excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring all equipment and instruments are ready and sterile.
  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiovascular procedures by providing appropriate tools and materials.
  • Monitor and manage specialized cardiovascular equipment throughout surgical interventions.
  • Perform inventory management and equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and regulatory protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outes and efficient workflow.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Proven experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician or similar role in a surgical setting.
  • prehensive knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, surgical instruments, and procedures.
  • Certification or training in cardiovascular technology or perioperative nursing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a critical care environment.
  • Excellent munication and teamwork skills.
