Summary : The Aviation Accessory Technician II is responsible for performing maintenance on limited fuel, oil, or air accessories by civil aviation articles in accordance with technical data such as manufacturers' Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, and industry standards, as approved by the FAA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Assembling limited fuel controls, governors, or all fuel, oil, or air accessories.
- Testing accessories on provided testing benches (excluding fuel controls and governors).
- Using hand tools and specialty tools for precision measurements daily.
- Reading and interpreting technical data and drawings.
- Generating data plates for components using a laser system.
- Troubleshooting components to determine root causes of failures.
- Collaborating with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Documenting maintenance records of all repair work orders.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent.At least 2 years of relevant technical work experience.Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and test equipment.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.High mechanical aptitude.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings.Basic computer skills.Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.Preferred Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent.Over 4 years of technical experience in aviation maintenance, MRO, or accessory repair.Other :
