The Investments team plays a central role in advancing Ventas's growth strategy by sourcing, evaluating, and executing transactions across the Company's healthcare real estate portfolio. With a track record of more than $30 billion in investments closed over the past decade, the team brings deep expertise, disciplined execution, and a collaborative approach to deploying capital. Ventas offers a small, high-touch Internship Program designed to give students firsthand exposure to the intersection of finance, real estate, and healthcare. Over the course of this 10-week summer program, our interns gain meaningful, hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals, while exploring potential career paths and building valuable networks in a mission-driven space.

As an Intern in Investments, you will gain firsthand exposure to the acquisition and transaction process for healthcare real estate across a range of deal sizes and structures. This role provides opportunities to strengthen financial modeling skills, develop investment acumen, and contribute to the execution of transactions that advance Ventas's growth strategy. Interns will contribute in the following ways :

• Assist the Investments team in modeling and evaluating risks and returns for potential transactions
• Support the due diligence process by analyzing financial, operational, and market data
• Contribute to transaction execution by assisting with closing materials, addressing open items, and participating in closing calls
• Collaborate with team members and legal counsel to ensure accurate, timely, and thorough completion of acquisitions

Qualifications :

The compensation available for the role considers a variety of factors including, but not limited to, work location, individual skill set, previous / applicable experience, and other business needs. The estimated hourly rate for this position is $30-$40 per hour.
