Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 + OT Bank/Time Off

A highly respected and long-established CPA firm located in North Haven, CT is actively seeking a Tax Manager with a well-rounded background in Audit and Tax—and a strong foundation in Trust & Estates. Role Overview:

• 30% Preparation (seasonal), 40% Review, 30% Admin/Leadership
• Manage complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Oversee audits, reviews, and compilations (nonprofits, HUD, municipalities, education)
• Work closely with leadership on internal process improvement, team development, and outreach strategy
• Direct involvement with client relationships, but no expectation to bring in business

Who You Are:

• CPA, with 10+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience with Trust and Estate returns
• Comfortable in both Audit and Tax (you won’t be stuck in one silo)
• Strong desire to mentor, lead, and serve—both inside and outside the firm
• Seeking hybrid flexibility in a firm that values balance as much as output

✅ Compensation & Perks:

• Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)
• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, 401(k), PTO, Sick Time, Profit Sharing (25% of first-year billing for new clients)
