Insurance Verification Specialist

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist - Per Diem.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure financial clearance for pre-service accounts prior to the date of service

Obtain and verify insurance information, benefit validation, and preservice collections

Initiate the billing process for services provided by the hospital

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access

National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire

Proficiency in Patient Registration / Patient Accounting systems and related software

Associates Degree preferred
