Hotel Transportation Driver

Transports guests in hotel property vehicles by performing the following duties.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Loads, unloads and delivers guest baggage.
• Provides transportation for guests between hotel and airport, attractions or businesses, etc.
• Maintains hotel vehicles, including filling gas tanks, cleaning interior and exterior and driving in a manner not to cause wear and tear. Logs mileage.
• Assists guests with luggage, directions, attraction suggestions, etc.
• Assists front desk by answering phones, delivering guest items (pillow, blankets, rollaways, etc.), and providing guest service support. Provides breaks for front desk as needed.
• Monitors security of hallways and parking lot.
• Picks up and maintains public areas including lobby, business center and pool area including removing room service trays.

Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook and property specific guidelines / standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled.

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a valid driving record and proof of insurability.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
