Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensivist to join our dynamic team in Lake Charles, LA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a well-established healthcare system, with direct access to a strong referral network of over 50 employed primary care providers and a robust community provider alignment. The successful candidate will provide critical care to pediatric patients in a 5-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and a 10-bed general pediatric unit, performing life-saving procedures and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Patient Care :

Provide specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.

Call Rotation :

Participate in a call schedule rotation to ensure 24 / 7 coverage for pediatric critical care patients.

Collaboration :

Work closely with an excellent support staff to deliver comprehensive care to pediatric patients.

Facility Overview :

10-bed Pediatrics unit and a 5-bed PICU equipped with advanced medical technology.
