Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The CVICU RN will provide critical care for pediatric patients with life-threatening cardiovascular conditions, requiring advanced organ support and invasive monitoring. The role demands a high level of clinical expertise, quick decision-making, and the ability to provide comprehensive care to the highest-acuity pediatric patients, including those recovering from surgery or managing chronic illness.\n\nResponsibilities : \nProvide advanced cardiovascular care to pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions, including post-surgery recovery, trauma, and complex cardiovascular disease management.^Monitor vital signs, laboratory data, and physiological indicators to assess patient conditions and determine the need for intervention.^Administer medications and therapies as per prescribed treatment plans, ensuring appropriate dosing and monitoring of side effects.^Operate advanced cardiovascular devices, including Impella, IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), and CVVH (Continuous Veno-Venous Hemofiltration), and ensure safe and effective operation.^Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, and other medical team members to provide holistic, patient-centered care.^Provide support and education to patients' families, answering questions and providing comfort during difficult times.^Ensure the safety and sterility of the care environment, strictly adhering to infection control protocols and safety procedures.^Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system.^Respond quickly to changes in a patient's condition, implementing appropriate interventions in high-pressure situations.^Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay current on the latest advancements in pediatric critical care.\nJob Summary : We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
