Job Description

As a Shop Service Technician specializing in Heavy Equipment Repair, you play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our fleet of heavy machinery. Working in our well-equipped shop, your responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and more.

• Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose construction equipment for needed repairs and perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned machines as directed. Repairs are made on, but not limited to Liebherr, Roadtec, Gomaco, Manitowoc, and Grove equipment.
• Preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep.
• Detection of faults through the use of diagnostic laptop computers, gauges, and instruments in all machine systems : electronics, hydraulics, power train, engines, and general machine performance is expected. Occasional operation of a machine in the determination of repair need or repair assessment may occur.
• Disassemble and assemble machines and components to the manufacturer's specifications through the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and any specialized tooling
