Metrologist - Quality Control

Our client, a global leader in aerospace engineering and manufacturing, has an immediate need for experienced Metrologist, to join our growing team in Miami. Our candidate of choice will inspect multiple machined products daily and report the findings to the Technical Support Engineer. This person will also consistently utilize CMM, visual inspection, and many hand inspection tools. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure incoming goods' dimensional conformity to drawing using all metrology equipment. Define and document the key product characteristics in coordination with method engineering and implement CMM inspection criteria and procedures. Provide inspection activity for products throughout the production cycle. Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes. Maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams. KEY QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering or related field Experience in metrology within a metal-mechanic manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand mechanical technical drawings. Proficient CMM (Zeiss Contura), measuring arm (FARO ARM), programming, and usage knowledge. Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Expert in metrology. Knowledge of GD&T set of tools Bilingual : English & Spanish Please apply today for immediate consideration.
