Job Description Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering quality patient care and ensuring accurate radiologic diagnoses under the guidance of the Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care : Responsible for confirming patient identity, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Radiation Protection : Utilize protective shielding and implement safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
• Equipment Operation : Operate advanced radiographic and fluoroscopic units, including digital imaging devices, to produce high-quality images.
• Image Production : Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure factors to achieve optimal image quality.
• Equipment Maintenance : Identify and report equipment malfunctions while performing basic evaluations of radiographic equipment.
• Safety Awareness : Foster a culture of safety by adhering to guidelines for patient verification and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Education : Graduate of an accredited two-year program.

Minimum Work Experience : Six months of experience to reach full proficiency.

Required Licenses / Registrations : RT - Radiography Technology (MA state license) or RT Temp - Radiography Technology Temporary (MA state license).

Please Note : Candidates should be prepared to provide their Continuing Education Unit (CEU) records and maintain them on-site for a duration of two years beyond their last licensure renewal date.
