Family Practice Medical Assistant
Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time
Were a friendly, patient-centered family practice looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to bring compassion, skill, and positive energy to our team and help us provide exceptional care to patients of all agesfrom newborns to seniors. We offer a MondayFriday schedule with great benefits, and a team that feels like family. Cross streets 101 and Tatum / Desert Ridge
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients, take and record vital signs, and update patient records in the EMR.
- Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer immunizations and medications as directed.
- Perform EKGs and ear lavage.
- Perform in-office blood draws and point of care testing (strep, flu, glucose, UA etc.)
- Educate patients about medications, follow-up care, and healthy living.
- Help keep the practice running smoothly by answering patient calls, and processing medication refills.
- Collaborate with a supportive, close-knit team.
