Stratus is seeking a Portfolio Manager for overseeing the strategic alignment, execution, and performance of the company project portfolio. This role ensures that all initiatives within the portfolio deliver value and meet business objectives. The Portfolio Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership, transformation teams, and delivery units to drive transparency, optimize resource allocation, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Governance & Strategy
- Lead annual portfolio planning, long-range forecasting, and budget alignment for corporate initiatives.
- Maintain a structured collection of IT investment areas, ensuring alignment with company's mission, vision, and OKRs.
- Facilitate scenario-based planning and prioritization using tools like ServiceNow PPM, Apptio, and Jira.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report on key metrics, risks, and milestones across initiatives using dashboards and scorecards.
- Benchmark corporate performance against internal and industry standards and recommend improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a liaison between company leadership, business units, and corporate to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Support communications and updates to executive stakeholders, including our CIO and EVP.
- Process Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management practices, including agile ceremonies, financial transparency, and delivery health.
- Support transformation efforts by identifying inefficiencies and enabling scalable, data-informed solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).7+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management within a technology or transformation environment.Strong understanding of IT governance, agile delivery, and financial management.Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Apptio, and Power BI.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Attributes
PMP, SAFe, or PgMP certification.Experience in strategic planning, enterprise transformation, or operational excellence.Ability to operate with urgency, navigate ambiguity, and influence across levels.
