Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a current MA RN license and Epic experience for a 12-hour day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Operating Room of a large hospital setting
  • 12-hour day shifts, 6 : 30am to 7 : 00pm
  • Call required three times per month, including overnight weekdays and 12-hour weekend coverage
  • Patient population involves a variety of surgical cases in a high-volume OR environment
  • Epic EMR is used and experience is required
  • Responsible for circulating and / or scrubbing on a range of surgical procedures
  • Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary surgical team to ensure patient safety
  • Completion of any required tests or modules may be necessary
  • No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
  • First time travelers will be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Previous Operating Room experience in a large hospital is required
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • COVID vaccine and booster, and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
  • Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Must not have been employed by the health system in the past 6 months
