Job description$22.00 – $35.00 / hour , based on experience and credentials Additional $2.00 / hour differential for hours worked between 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM Basic Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent Current California RVT license preferred , but not required Emergency or specialty hospital experience strongly preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and colleagues Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations for medication doses, CRIs, estimates, and invoices Must maintain or obtain a California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) within 60 days of hire (waived if RVT) Dependable, team-oriented, and calm under pressure Schedule : Relief (Casual) Status – pick up extra shifts as needed Minimum requirement : one shift per month Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is a plus Ready to Make a Difference?
