At Reunion Ktchn Bar Were seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef specialized in Chinese cuisine to join our team for an exciting new Chinese food restaurant in Aventura. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the menu and culinary direction of a concept that blends tradition, creativity, and an elevated dining experience.

What Youll Do:

• Work closely with the owners to develop and refine an innovative menu rooted in authentic and regional Chinese flavors
  
  
• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation are exceptional
  
  
• Assist in sourcing ingredients, managing prep, and maintaining kitchen efficiency
  
  
• Train and guide kitchen staff in proper techniques and execution
  
  
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  
  

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience as a sous chef or senior line cook specializing in Chinese cuisine
  
  
• Deep knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking techniques, Wok cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, recipes and styles
  
  
• Creative flair for developing modern interpretations while respecting authenticity
  
  
• Strong communication and leadership skills
  
  
• Ability to thrive in a startup-style environment and collaborate directly with ownership

• English or Spanish language skill is a must

Preferred:

• Experience in concept development or opening new restaurants
