Review all payroll related interfaces prior to releasing payroll : troubleshooting issues in processes, functions and interfaces.Maintain accurate records and repare reports as required.Process all payroll related journal entries.Collect and submit data for annual 401k audits.Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department / division transfers.
Determine payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
Balance payroll accounts resolving payroll discrepancies.
Resolve issues and answer any payroll-related information.
Maintain confidential information by adhering to Company and department legal and ethical standards.
- Manage and direct payroll team through training, development, and counseling.
- Manage and support payroll-related initiatives and projects.
- All other relevant duties to the position.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in Business, Accounting or closely related field preferred.
- 4+ years of payroll experience required.
- 2+ years experience supervising a team required.
- Proficient knowledge and experience with Kronos timekeeping and ADP HRIS preferred.
