USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24 / 7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP / SAR environments

HOW A CYOC Platform Engineer WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provides systems engineering support and monitoring of enterprise platform solutions for internal and external network; application; desktop and database performance as part of CYOC.

Develops and maintains platforms to aid in the management of COOP / DR, Change, Problem, Configuration, Incident, Knowledge, Event, and Maintenance ITSM tasks.

Responsible for the integration and maintenance of IT Ops platforms and performs the development of automated platform dashboards and workflows for enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, MECM, SolarWinds, and PowerBI.

Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation for all IT infrastructure operations.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Required Experience : 5+ years of related experience

Required Certifications : CYSA, Sec+, or Network+

Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation ITSM Certification within the first 9 months

Desired Certifications : ITIL 4 Foundation; CompTIA Network+; or Cisco Certified Network Associate; Cisco Certified Network Professional; Vmware Certified Professional Network Virtualization (VCP-NV); or SolarWinds Certified Professional; or Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Core; or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator

Security Clearance Level : TS with abilitty to obtain SCI eligibility.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $102,850 - $139,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
