What You Will Do :

The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of physician billing & collection project(s) and the management of the project staff. This position is responsible for developing implementing managing and meeting or exceeding the Operational goals of our clients and Company. The Team Lead will and may work closely with their team Team Leads Operations Managers and the client to work on opportunities with new and emerging approaches to our clients business processes. This position will follow and ensure that client and company policies and procedures are followed and will also perform any and all job related duties as assigned.

This is classified as a hybrid position requiring to be in the Lewisville TX or Mitchell SD office 2-3 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting staff to be successful and work as a team

Manage day-to-day problem solving and first point of contact for team questions

Quality assurance reviews feedback and other trainings as necessary

Ability to work with other leads to develop policies and procedures as needed

Overseeing all aspects of the client including charge posting payment posting adjustments insurance follow up and patient collections

Organizing and facilitating regular team meetings and client meetings

Mid-year and year end employee reviews and feedback

Organizing team building exercises

Attending leadership trainings

Strong understanding of PM system and supporting software / systems used

Handling all vacation and sick requests

Handling employee and client issues when appropriate and in absence of the manager

What You Will Need :

High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent in lieu of diploma / GED

8 years working within the following sectors : healthcare insurance business finance or customer service.

Working knowledge can be of the following : insurance claims billing coding follow-up finance accounting or customer service related responsibilities.

Ability to research billing guidelines

Provide training coaching and mentoring to Team Members

Act as a role model for team office and company

Demonstrate the desire for ongoing education

Some limited travel to client sites may occur
