Infant / Toddler Classroom Aide

4629 Aicholtz Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45244 - Clermont County

Hours : Full time, Year round Availability between 7 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m.

Hourly Rate : 15.35 per hour

Degree Required : High School Diploma / GED

Additional Requirements : Ability to lift a child weighing 40 pounds. Ability to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid. Pass physical examination, background check, and drug screen, and maintain required Physical / TB screen requirements.

Primary Job Responsibilities : The Classroom Aide is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of a Infant / Toddler classroom.

• Relate positively with young children and families
• Be passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
• Work cooperatively with other team members
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow.
• Love children and wish to work in a team-oriented environment
• Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
• Have knowledge and interest of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• Have previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred, but not required as training provided

Child Focus is seeking a dedicated early childhood professionals to serve as an Infant / Toddler Classroom Aide

in an Infant Toddler Classroom implementing a research-based curriculum. Duties include set up and maintenance of classroom, engaging with infants and toddlers, diaper changing and fostering learning and growth. Child Focus is a 5 STAR rated Step Up to Quality Program and provides high quality early childhood services.
