Position Overview :
As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in offering essential support and companionship to residents. You'll assist them with daily activities, ensuring they maintain their independence as outlined in their individualized care plans. Key Responsibilities :
- Follow and document individualized care plans accurately.
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
- Support mobility and ambulation, including the use of mechanical aids.
- Assist with meal delivery and feeding according to dietary needs.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
- Accompany residents to on-site or off-site appointments and events.
- Monitor and report any changes in condition to the supervising staff promptly.
- Take and record vital signs, input / output, and other important observations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment in the community.
- Participate in ongoing training and uphold confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
Qualifications :
Current South Carolina CNA certification.CPR / First Aid certification (or a willingness to obtain).Minimum of 1 year of verifiable personal care experience.High school diploma or GED.Reliable transportation to assigned community locations.Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Must be at least 18 years old.Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.Preferred Traits :
