We are currently seeking a Site Safety Manager for Highway 74 in Homeland, CA. The Site Safety Manager’s duty is to monitor and assess onsite activities, providing guidance and oversight to support safe and efficient operations. Through leadership and collaboration with the project team, the Site Safety Manager shall continuously promote a strong safety culture, reinforce company values, ensure adherence to best practices, effective communication, personal accountability, and employee development.

Essential Functions

• Conduct job-site orientation and safety training for all personnel, including subs.
• Support the project team in complying with IIPP, SSSP, and specific contract language.
• Assist in observing and guiding subcontractors and the project team to manage safety risks.
• Lead accident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and ensure corrective actions are implemented by the project team.
• Coordinate weekly Toolbox talks and RCA meetings with site supervisors.
• Coordinate emergency response and ensure timely medical care for personnel.
• Maintain jobsite postings in compliance with OSHA / Cal-OSHA regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and communicate them to the project team and subs.
• Ensure operations comply with CA MUTCD standards and temporary traffic control plans.
• Assist the Project Manager or Engineer with safety submittals, reports and documentation.
• Document daily safety inspections and maintain accurate project safety logs.
• Demonstrate skills in managing compliance with Dig Alert (811) permits per CA GC4216.
• Manage procurement, distribution, and training related to PPE and other safety materials.
• Attend or host monthly (all hands) safety meetings held by the owner or agency.
• Perform or assist record testing of noise, airflow, and air quality.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by upper management.

Annual Salary Range : $98,000 - $140,000.

Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates outside of the local area on a case-by-case basis.
