Job Details :
The Director of Retail Execution is responsible for the planning and execution of in-store retail sales distribution and shelving priorities for Tyson Foods. In addition it will establish core retail objectives in all accounts within the customer geographic teams including growth of base distribution execution of new item speed to shelf selling displays maintaining permanent secondary locations and maintaining account planogram adherence.
This position will also provide leadership to direct team members and broker management personnel to achieve all assigned objectives. This will include maintaining a working relationship with the Tyson Sales teams and broker partners to ensure best in class results. Other responsibilities will include : communicating and executing corporate and brand objectives to the broker conducting market and store visits to analyze customer needs and opportunities; utilizing syndicated data and internal reporting systems to identify opportunities to improve in-store execution; driving new item strategy to the broker and ensure proper placement of new items on customer s shelves within the allotted timeframe.
REQUIREMENTS :
Education : Bachelor s degree or equivalent generally earned through industry experience.
Experience : 10 plus years of industry and or sales leadership experience
Computer Skills : Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Word Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Deal Manager TBM and SDS.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written skills.
Supervisory : This position will have 8 direct reports
Travel : 15-20 trips per year.
