• Perform pre-start check, per start-up checklist
• Load line according to schedule and Foreman instructions
• Inspect raw material for cleanliness, contamination and damage
• Monitor machine, assure that machine settings are correct, cycle and current
• Correct or assist in correcting any problems associated with a machine breakdown
• Monitor racks / barrels, assure that racks / barrels are in good condition
• Maintain racks / barrels, make notations on production report of any suspect racks / barrels
• Inspect finished product, prior to dryer, check for coverage and coatings
• Communicate with Supervisor to maintain the minimum production standard
• Accurately complete production report
• Keep catwalks and aisles free from trip hazards
• Always wear proper safety items
• Keep front of machine area clean
